Today, I would like to talk about how you can use garlic as a remedy to treat your yeast infection. This home remedy has been around for quite awhile. The reason it works is because garlic contains both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ingredients which just happen to fight off Candida albicans, a micro-organism which causes yeast infections. Like yogurt, you can fight yeast infections by either consuming garlic, or inserting it into the vagina.

Methods of Using Garlic for Fighting Yeast Infections

For girls, you have two methods that you can use for fighting off your yeast infection. You can either insert a garlic clove into your vagina, or you can consume garlic cloves or pills. Guys can use cloves or pills. Each method will be explained below.

Method 1. Consuming Garlic

What You Will Need

  • Fresh, natural garlic clove or garlic pills.
  • Knife to mince the garlic (if you choose to do so).
  • Water or any other beverage (if you choose).
  • Blender (if you choose).

Directions

  1. Peel the skin off of the garlic.
  2. Take 1 garlic clove and eat it whole OR.
  3. Take 1 garlic clove and mince it (cut into small piece).
  4. Add the clove into a drink, and consume OR.
  5. Use a blender to blend the garlic clove into a drink.
  6. Then consume

Method 2. Insert Into Vagina.

What You Will Need.

  • Fresh, natural garlic clove.
  • Gauze.
  • Something to tie onto gauze.
  • Lubricant

Directions.

  1. Take a fresh garlic clove and wrap it in gauze.
  2. Tie something to the gauze (like a string on a tampon).
  3. Lubricate the gauze.
  4. Insert into vagina and leave in overnight.

Garlic for Yeast Infection Conclusion.

Because of its’ anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, garlic can both be consumed or inserted into the vagina overnight to treat yeast infections.
