After doing tons of research, I have found that there are 2 notable home remedies that people really like to use when it comes to taking baths for yeast infections.
- Tea Tree Oil.
- Apple Cider Vinegar.
There may be other bath remedies that are also available, but these are the 2 that I was made aware of, and these are the 2 that I want to talk to you about today.
To be completely honest, this post is going to be a recap of what I have already discussed in the remedy-specific posts, but regardless, let’s talk about using tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar + a bath to treat your yeast infection.
Tea Tree Oil.
Tea tree oil fights off yeast, and can be applied topically, or used while taking a bath. To use, simply fill up the bath tub to where the water rises just above your lower region. Place the bottom of your feet flat down, while laying down. Finally, put a few drops of tea tree oil in the tub, and relax for 10 to 15 minutes. If irritation occurs at all while you are in the tub, get out, rinse off, and discontinue use.
Apple Cider Vinegar.
From what I understand, apple cider will not cure your yeast infection, but it can give you some relief from the nasty symptoms that a yeast infection can create. Add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to a bath tub that is filled just above your pelvic region. Stay in the tub for 10 to 15 minutes, and feel free to shower off afterwards.
From all of the remedies that I have looked through, tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar seemed to be most commonly used in the bath tub. In fact, I don’t recall any other solution being used in the bath tub as an effective yeast infection remedy. These are both two great options, so I would definitely give them a try.
